What salary can an executive assistant expect?
In India, roughly 4–10 LPA supporting senior management and 12–20 LPA at C-suite level in large firms. The US band is about $60,000–$100,000, higher in finance and technology, the UK £30,000–£55,000. Who you support moves this far more than years of experience do.
Is the role at risk from automation?
Scheduling and inbox triage are being compressed by tooling. Judgement is not — deciding what reaches the executive, handling a conflict between two priorities, and knowing what to escalate. The roles that have disappeared are the diary-only ones; the ones that grew are closer to chief of staff.
What gets you shortlisted?
